Are you ready for some football?

College football starts in earnest in just two weeks from today. I'm really looking forward to it, as I am every year at this time.

Football season marks for me a time of nostalgia (as I played football when I was younger and I remember playing catch with my dad when I was a kid), but it also coincides with the start of school (which was always its own source of excitement) and the start of autumn (which is my favorite season).

All in all, the start of college football marks the beginning of a great season. You can bet that, in two weeks' time, I'll be watching the first games.
