Like Steve Biko

I'm like Steve Biko, in that I write what I like.

I have a voice and for as long as I am able, I will use it. I would say that it was the same principle that led me to become a lawyer, to use my voice on behalf of others.

When I really started picking-up the pace with writing in this blog a number of months ago, I had concluded that it was time to speak up and speak out.

I can't control who wants to listen or who wants to care. That's okay. I don't worry about that.

I'll continue to look, to listen, and do my best to understand . . . and then I write.
